Main house

Lounge areas

This large Gascon farm house, dating in parts from the 1700s, is built on a hillside over three levels. It opens to reveal a spacious interior, beautifully equipped and styled.

The ground floor is tiled throughout with hand-crafted terracotta tiles.

Two very different lounging spaces provide ample room to spread out, allowing larger groups or extended families to relax, listen to music, watch a film, play board games or sip an aperitif in front of the fire.

The through lounge opens out on to a west-facing veranda and has three large sofas, armchairs, plenty of books and games. The fireplace features a magnificent contemporary double-sided wood-burning stove for cooler evenings.

The south-facing ‘piano room’ offers a concert piano as well as a 36-inch flat screen TV with DVD library.
